Background:
Game Background
Kisara's Background / Personality
Migal's Background - Including this because for some reason, there's more information about Migal (and Kisara) on his page than there is on Kisara's.

Personality:
Kisara is most easily referenced to as the 'mom' or 'sister' friend of the Tales of Arise cast. She cares for those close to her a great deal and is very willing to take on a maternal role from cooking and cleaning, to repairing garb, and other things that she often shouldn't be doing herself, but is such a busybody that she can't always help having that habit. It is likely that she developed these traits as a result of the orphanage children that she and Migal cared for. Kisara and Migal lost their parents at a very early age and it is probable that not having that influence in her life has affected how she presents herself to others, stepping into the position that she really didn't get the chance to experience with her own family.

On her outsides, Kisara's an incredibly confident woman in her combat prowess, her ability to handle social situations, and her adept skills at facing adversity head-on with a great deal of courage and fearlessness. In spite of this presentation of her person, she can also be very insecure, though many of these insecurities come into more play following the death of her older brother. It could be surmised that Kisara's adamant determination leads her to believe that she can't let herself be vulnerable, likely due to the number of people who appear to be relying on her (or—those of whom she thinks are relying on her).

Something to note is that one could feasibly say there are two very different 'modes' to Kisara—the one where she is dedicated to what she defines as 'duty,' and the woman who exists outside of this servitude. Through the actual progress of the story, Kisara's position of the former must adjust to fit the circumstances that befall Elde Menancia and how Viscint is run. Can she continue to call herself a guardsman of anything if the man who was once a lord is a lord no longer? As a result, she winds up torn between the woman she once was, the life she once knew, the Kisara that she must grow into.and how that version of herself affects the relationships she fosters with those around her.

She can appear a bit rough around the edges due to her background as a member of the captain's guard. Although this title tends to define much of who she is as an individual and her appearance, Kisara wants to be more ladylike and has voiced insecurity over how much she doesn't exude that 'feminine charm' or disposition. Aside from her achievements made in the name of Menancia's benefit or providence of other Dahnans, Kisara seems to shy away from attention or praise that is placed upon her individual person, rather than her role. This is something she continues to struggle with through the course of events taking place in the game, applying a very modest and possibly insignificant perception of self.

Kisara is a very observant and intuitive woman. She can often pick out when things may be going poorly for someone even without them saying so, implying that she places a lot of weight into body language and what someone may not be sharing. Although I'm taking her from an earlier canon point, she displays this multiple times during the game, most frequently concerning Shionne's mysterious visions regarding her thorns, her relationship with Alphen and the others, and other like situations that arise. It is not clear whether she can do this with everyone, but the assumption is safer made that she's capable of this observation with those she considers close or cares for.

She has a very positive relationship with the other main members of the cast for the most part, though her relationship with Dohalim is understandably strained. In later storyline, she is eventually capable of putting aside her anger towards his negligence, but prior to that, she is left with a great deal of feelings that she doesn't quite know what to do with. She doesn't handle betrayal or manipulation well, though more oft than not, wears an expertly crafted composition. It is a rare sight to see her lose her temper and most notably, her largest outburst occurs when she watches her brother die in front of her, something that could have been avoided had Dohalim been more aware of what his fellow Renans were doing.

So much of her life is dictated by things she's learned from her brother and how he's affected her as an individual, and a future Kisara understands that in order to proceed further, she must learn how to pave the way for herself, to find her own dreams, and to discover her own passions.

Abilities:
- Despite being a Dahnan, Kisara has a variety of astral artes that she can access by way of the Renan technology that she was granted when she became the captain of the guard.
- She's a fantastic combatant, though her skills are largely involving tower shields and mace-like weaponry. It is unlikely she's had training in other weapon types such as swords, polearms, and so on.
- She's an expert fisherman. It's one of her favourite things to do during her downtime.
- Kisara's also quite good at cooking, cleaning, tailoring, and other potentially mundane tasks, all of which she learned how to do through Migal.
- It is possible that Kisara has a decent singing voice. She may have sung for the children in the orphanage that she and Migal looked after.

Inventory:
- Necessary armour and apparel
- Migal's bracelet
- The bracer that allows her to access Renan astral artes
